I changed the door switch on my Maytag Dryer. It had a yellow wire and a white wire running to the switch. But I forgot to label where each wire went on the new switch after I removed the old switch then went to the appliance shop. Does it matter?

My Maytag dryer refuses to light off checked all limit switches, all closed need wiring diagram to go any further. Model # mdg5500aww
